*Rhosyn Quest for Power. 'A' 'Z' (imp Aust) retires.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,
it is with great pleasure that John, Tracey and Leanne Walsh of Oldfields Kennels announce the retirement of their kennel foundation German Shepherd dog Rhosyn Quest for Power (import Australia)
D.O.B. .7.10.2000

Senna was shown 67 times throughout Australia and New Zealand in Specialist fields only.
During his show career he has attained
9 times Best in Show,
3 times reserve in show,
14 Gold Medals,
15 times reserve dog,
53 times Excellent graded,

Shown at 3 NZ Nationals attaining 5th, 7th and at the age of 8 years old 6th place 2008 National.
2 of Sennas Highlights being 2nd Baby puppy 29th National Melbourne 2001.

This is where John and Tracey first saw Senna and considered trying to buy him but really had no idea how to approach the idea so let it go.

1 Year later they returned to Sydney to see Senna win 1st Junior dog at the 30th National in Sydney 2002 in a very strong field of males who are still making there mark in Australia today.

They thought there was no chance of purchasing him from this point until he came up for sale, in 2003. As they were familiar with Senna by now and he was already breed survey class 1.jumped at the opportunity to bring Senna to NZ.
Senna,s bloodlines are now firmly in place in NZ through his many Excellent sons and daughters and in particular through the Gold medal winning Wombarra Hezindazone bred and owned by Jan and Barry Grives also through his Best in show All breeds winner Ch Zetland Gladiator bred and owned by Anne and Robert Grant and also through the outstanding producing son Stattlich Gold Rush bred by Bruce and Judy Mayhew who is the sire of Bronze medal winning Oldfields Jazmin AZ and VGS Oldfields Kelly AZ also VG Oldfields Karly AZ .

Another highlight stemming down through Sennas bloodline was his great grandson Oldfields Marty winning Bronze medal at this years National.

John, Tracey and Leanne would like to thank all the people who have supported them through the past 5 years during the ups and downs and in particular to Stephen and Christine Collins of Rhosyn Kennels for breeding such a special dog and selling him to them as there was another party interested in purchasing him and lastly to Senna for all the friends he has made them and the entertainment he has given them which is sure to continue in his retirement and also to the entertainment Senna has given to the spectators around the ring, they hope the people who have Senna,s bloodlines get the very best from it.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls we give you the honest dog, the mighty hearted dog, the entertainer, * RHOSYN QUEST FOR POWER . ‘A’ ‘Z’

John, Tracy & Leanne Walsh.

Hi John Tracey and Leanne,

What a lovely story you have told about a very special Boy Senna,
He sure has given so much, and you in return have loved him unconditionally, win or lose you always went home with the winner.

Senna has left some lovely sons and daughters and grand kids to go on in his name,

Hi John, Tracey and Leanne

Thankyou for bringing Senna to NZ

Without him we would not have his beautiful granddaughter Oldfields Karly and we wouldn't of got to know three great people.

All the best

Bob and Annette
